Keeping Quiet

Keeping Quiet is a series of paintings and prints that portray mythic characters, primarily from Greek tradition, as contemporary people. Deliberately eschewing the art historical tradition of dramatic action and multiple figures, this work instead asks for a quieter contemplation of the roles (if any) these once-ubiquitous characters continue to play.
